It’s hard to talk about budgeting, taxes, and credit in a kid-friendly and exciting way. But we all know financial education is important. When kids start learning about money and money management early, they build a strong foundation for future financial success.

We believe financial literacy can be fun – which is why we created MoneyIsland. When kids play MoneyIsland, they enter a virtual world that not only makes learning fun, but also tracks and encourages their progress. As they go on quests to fantastic destinations like the Eiffel Tower and Atlantis, they learn real-life principles of financial responsibility.

With MoneyIsland you get your own parent/teacher account, so you can see exactly what your child is learning and interact with the same content. Tracking your child’s progress helps you identify an area he is struggling with so you can provide extra help and attention.

Plus, MoneyIsland can help you continue important conversations and life lessons offline. Visit the Parents & Teachers section of MoneyIsland website for lesson plans and sample activities to engage children outside of the games.

Note: To set up MoneyIsland on your iPad you’ll need to log into your account via the online version and generate an account code. A participating community financial institution provides MoneyIsland account accessibility, via a distributed access code.
